Create three Christmas mini-collages using papers and embellishments. Then, you'll place each collage between two clear microscope slides to display them and seal them off with metal tape. Each is tied from a ribbon at the top to make gorgeous Christmas ornaments. Hang them from your tree or adorn your wrapped Christmas presents. Truly impressive, you could pass them generation to generation as mini-heirlooms.. They're jewelry for your tree! Please bring a pair of sharp, fine tipped scissors. Come join us as we transform restaurant coasters into a gorgeous, three dimensional, timeless wall hanging. Just $15 You + Me 3:10pm Teacher: Brandy Seitz Create a 6 in x 6 in "meander" book, which is a book all about you + one. Bring 4-6 (preferably black and white, see class sample for various sizes) of you plus someone else, this could be your significant other, a daughter, son, sister, brother, best friend, etc. This mini-book is meant to be fun and celebrate you and your relationship with another. Made from cardstock and pattern paper, the mini-book will bound together with a Bind-It All. We'll explore a variety of techniques from doodling, to the creative use of unconventional things. Students please bring tape adhesive, small pop dots, small glue dots, paper trimmer, scissors, large white Sharpie paint pen and black pens for journaling, and a black ink stamp pad. It's a scrapbook purse made out of beautiful papers and heavier cardstock so it will stand on it's own. Place on a shelf or table for display. It's sure to catch anyone's eye. Just $10 Unwritten 7:05pm Teacher: Jen Geigley Using patterned paper and other products, we will be making a 6x6 chipboard album all about you and what inspires you. The theme of this mini-book will be based on the song “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield. (“Reaching for something in the distance, so close you can almost taste it… today is where your book begins, the rest is still unwritten” are some of the lyrics to this hit song.) Bring 8 (or more) 4x6 photos of yourself and things that inspire you - if possible, it would be great if at least two of them could be vertical and two horizontal. These can be photos of you by yourself, with friends, relatives, or children, or photos of your scrap space, photos of the supplies that inspire you, an artist that inspires you - anything goes! Also please bring adhesive, your paper trimmer, scissors, a black or brown pen, hole punch and a black or brown inkpad. Just $15 Puzzled By You 8:10pm Teacher: Minna Khounlo-Sithep Create cute photo puzzles out of 4 wooden blocks! Each side is a different mini layout - we'll be creating 6 altogether! We'll be keeping it simple with sanding, tearing and creative cutting. Nice papers in soft pinks, blues and greens. Just bring (6) photos that can be cut down to fit into a 4x4 layout. Please bring your adhesive, scissors, sandpaper, black or brown inkpad (optional), and personal paper trimmer. Feel free to bring your own stickers for a theme or there will be sticker alphabet letters to choose from. It's a great gift or super-cute decor for your desk. Just $10
